I saw the X-Arm on HGTV and really thought it was a cool product. I want to mount my TV over my fireplace and since I would often need to adjust it, this would be perfect for me.


I finally got all the other pieces of the puzzle set up for my home theater and this is the last one. Unfortunately I went over budget and do not want to spend more than about $900 for an X-Arm if possible. I heard they dropped their prices but cannot find any stores that reflect this.

Anyone have a link to a store that sells it for around this price? So far most of the ones I have found are around $1200

Just a quick update. I have been using my new X-Arm for a few weeks now and wanted to let you know my first impressions. I love it! My biggest surprise was that it comes with 4 preset modes and not 2 like I had originally thought. That is a big plus. It is also a lot quieter than others had mentioned on other forums. The reason I wanted this mount is I had a big glare problem and also need to adjust it due to my furniture. I adjust the angle of my TV depending on whether I am alone or watching with the family. This is really a great product and seems to be extremely high quality. Since I ordered my mount the price has dropped a lot more and you can now get it for under $700. Check on Ebay or Amazon for some great deals. You might also want to check the price comparison sites. I liked mine so much I am buying one as a gift for my parents. The cheapest price I have found so far is $642 from this site.
