Topic: BEST PROJECTOR FOR FINE ART TRANSFER

I make art using Corel Painter, Photoshop, etc. I've been making enlargements of the work at Kinko's, then using pounce wheels to transfer the design to gesso boards. This approach only partly improves on that used 1-200 years ago. I want to use a projector for this transfer work. The criteria: 1 Price point at ~$2,500.00; 2 Easy, accurate fixes for keystoning; 3 Reasonably faithful color rendition using a known color system; 4 Most appropriate technology: (DLP?)(LCD?)(LCoS?); 5 Adequate lumen power for working in a semi-lit studio; 6 Projection of images to a working size of ~6' x ~10'; 7 Only moderate portability, if that helps price. Guidance? Thanks, and best regards, hbc |
