Elite Screens Sable Frame 2 Series, 120-inch ER120WH2 is this a good screen for 4k and BenQ HT3550 projector?

Anything better to upgrade to?

Right now I have portable tripod projector I got a year ago to use temporally. It is a Elite. This one.

How much better is the fixed frame screen I linked. Will I notice the difference?

Not sure how long you've had your pull up screen, but they typically have waves in the material which are visible and slightly impact image quality. They also tend to use a pretty cheap material.

Most notable a fixed frame screen has a really good light soaking border around it that sucks up any overspill from the projector which can improve perceived contrast really well.

The SableFrame from Elite and the white screen from Silver Ticket are both solid choices. I thought the build quality of the Silver Ticket was slightly better than the SableFrame. I've used both and they have similar final results.

I am not sure if Elite has improved the overall quality to best that of the Silver Ticket screens at this point.

Thanks what about this screen as well ? Will it work with a BenQ HT3550 well ?

Both of those screens are the same frame, with different surfaces.

Unless you are in a particularly bad room, I would avoid grey materials in favor of white. Both Silver Ticket and Elite offer grey materials for the screen. All of which will generally work fine with a 4K projector like the 3550, but ideally, you get a white screen and get your room as dark as possible. Dark paint, dark everything, white screen.

Thanks. One last question are any floor rising screens or portable screens worth it or not really ? If so which ones ?

Amazingly from your first question sorry for not saying my tripod Elite 120" 16:9 screen never developed waves really. Though I never closed it always kept it open. Maybe that is why ?
