Hey all,

This is my first time posting here so please let me know if I can improve this in anyway. I purchased a used Samsung SP-A600B that was sold originally for parts. I took the machine apart and replaced the color wheel (which was shattered) and replaced the lamp. With the new lamp and the color wheel the colors are still very yellow and kind of blurred. What would be causing this? A failing DMD chip or something else? Maybe it is just an a settings adjustment?

Thank You,

There is no simple answer to this, but it is possible that it may just need the color wheel to be calibrated within the projector.

This requires you to get into the diagnostics settings of the projector, which is not something I know how to do. And then getting to the proper page to adjust the color wheel. Once again, this is something I've heard of others doing, on other projectors, but I have no specific knowledge of doing myself.

I would reach out to FixItFrank to see if he is able to offer any advice here.

Is FixItFrank active on this forum or should I PM him? How can I get in contact with them?

He has posted his email on the forums before. He has a thread here...

I wouldn't say many are active in these forums beyond me, but hit up his YouTube page to see the best way to reach out to him for support.
