-HTPC with windows 10 and a gtx1070 graphics card
-The screen is 12 feet by 7 feet Ambient light resistant
-the hdmi needs to be 50feet to reach.
-room is bright most the time but can make it absolutely dark

-what are my windows settings?
-what cable should I buy?

The PC should automatically detect the display as a 4K unit as it passes through your AV receiver. There should be no 'settings' which you need to setup specifically. You do want to ensure that your computer recognizes the projector as a 4K/60hz monitor.

Generally speaking, I recommend the RUIPRO models.

Get the length you need and be aware that when you install it, that the cable is directional.

Projector settings are specific to the room and the environment. You can get projector calibration discs online or calibration tools, but often you can try the settings used in reviews or check the AVS Owner's thread for specific settings others have used. Often, just a slight tweak to out of the box settings is all that is necessary to have an image you are going to be happy with.

I'm sure it will look quite nice, but I'm interested to hear how you like your ALR screen. They do quite a number to the image.

Thanks for the help. I have it all set up and the cable too. Everything looks amazing. I did have to change to 60hz but all other settings seem good on the htpc. When I get a chance I will play with the projector settings.

Front-end Web Application Development The web development team works directly with the client to create fully functioning web applications. This team is responsible for building and launching the website, getting it loaded on the server, making it accessible to the public, and providing support https://mlsdev.com/services/web-development. Typically, this is the most challenging section of the software development process because it requires the skills and knowledge of a large group of people.
