Hi,

I am looking for a motorized 140+ inch screen for my basement. Main feature is to have an auto stop after preset drop.

Planning to get the Epson Pro Cinema 4050 4K PRO-UHD Projector.

Since this would be motorized - looking for a model that can be set with "stop" - so the screen would drop and stop at the pre-set point.

My last motorized screen, I had to manually adjust every time I dropped it, there was only a Start and Stop. I had to manually Stop once it dropped enough. That was a 10 year old model anyway.

Requirements :
Preferrable under $500.
Size : 140+ incn
Resolution : 4k
Type : Motorized
Featuers : Auto stop to preset drop

thank you all for your replies in advance.

I'm shocked your old screen didn't have an adjustable stop point. Must have been really cheap.

Screens from DaLite, Draper, and Elite should all have adjustable stop points.

If you get a 16:9 screen (as you should) then it will already be the proper aspect ratio for your projector, so that is important.

I am not a fan of non-tensioned motorized electric screens, so consider spending a bit more to get a tensioned motorized screen.

Something like this maybe...

Thanks for the reply .. yeah .. I guess mine was a really old model.
Glad to hear that the newer ones have a stop point or memory recall.

Looking for around $500 .. at $1.5k getting a few options.
