I'm thinking of buying a home cinema sofa. As it is to be a four-seater, the choice is very limited. Can anyone give me any suggestions or does anyone have any experience in this area. Thanks in advance!

Home theater seating is widely available and there is an extensive lineup of options which can give you exactly what you are looking for.

Something to be aware of is that proper home theater seating is fully modular. That is, you can get it in a 4-seat setup as a long couch, or as a loveseat in the center with two recliners on the ends, or a ton of other variations. You order it with the exact setup you would like and are not limited to a few small selections, but a wide variety in a long list of colors.

There are many custom home theater websites out there. Check some of them out. For example:

I don't support this site specifically, but I've looked through it in the past. It's a good example of what you can purchase and gives you some baseline budgetary considerations. It looks like it may be about $1,000 per seat for a quality product.

Hey AV_Integrated, thanks so much for your answer! It's good to know that home theater seating is widely available and there is great lineup of options.

Thanks so much for your advice! I really liked the idea of having a 4-seat setup as a loveseat in the center with two recliners on the ends.

Thanks as well for the recommendations about the custom home theater websites out there. I will definitely check them out.

$1,000 per seat for a quality product is not too bad. I mean I will use it quite frequently anyways and as long as it's comfortable I don't mind paying a bit more...

Thanks so much for your help!!

Hello,

Older thread I see but thought I would add my 3 cents for others:

I bought these: Octane MAX King's

2 chairs, so they are separate in my living room. (see my post for the layout/views.) They came in about 1700 a chair, but has all the bells & whistles.

Price sounds great in the beginning but some chairs do not have 1 thing you like/want and next thing you know you are buying the top of line chair.

I was able to get 450 off every 2000 spent I think.

Do note they may not have these in stock. I was told up to 14 weeks. I'm about a month in now. So plan early! lol Cheaper than a nice leather rocker I really liked, that didn't have any features at all.

This wait time gives me time to buy the Audio stuff. Do the flooring. I'm doing a custom carpet rug over the tile. As rugs are to thin and cost a lot.

Hope that helps anyone.
