I'm glad you've had good luck with things over the last year and things really do look good.
I wish more of these Chinese manufacturers would bring their product into the US and offer mainland USA support to them because they really do have some unique offerings. Especially now with the new UST laser based 4K models.
One thing of note: You can't actually do lag testing the way you are doing it. This is a common way others have done it, but it doesn't work because there is some delay in almost all video screens. So, the one screen you are using may have 17ms of delay, and the projector is another 10ms of delay. Making it 27ms.
That said, generally speaking, 33ms is a very fast response time in the projector world. And if you are happy, then WHO CARES? But, I know people want real numbers. It's just highly unlikely that 10ms is a real number as that beats almost every major manufacturer on the market to date. ************************************************************** Ok, that makes sense. I watched some videos and thought that was a good way to test, but now I know better. I still think it is at least a benchmark that I can prove across multiple systems so it ends up being better than nothing. A Macbook Pro and a Surface tablet are pretty different pieces of equipment and the fact that the #'s repeat works for me. As far as US support for this brand you can go directly to this site: http://www.jmgous.rocks/Or contact them here in the USA at: JmGOUS 62 N. Main St Frankfort, Indiana 46041 (765) 237-9825 From a gaming standpoint I can say that playing first person shooters like Apex, Fortnite & most of the Call of Duty games the lag hasn't slowed me down at all. I am almost always in the top 5 and my K/D percentage is consistently above average. Again it is probably due to me having the first Xbox on day one back in 2001 and I am quite used to the system and it's controllers. Being an old guy at 52 years young I really do like knowing the only real lag I am experiencing is old age Overall the bang for the buck and the projector has worked for me for over a year now and I am crazy happy with this unit. I wouldn't hesitate to tell someone else to save some cash and give it a shot. |
