I recently connected a mini Asus Vivo PC to my Optoma GT 1080. Like any display that is not a true monitor, i used the desktop scaling to fit to the screen. When doing so the screen starts to curve downward on the left side. I am just wondering if anyone experiences this while using a projector as their monitor. If so, is their a fix? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,332 |
If the image is not straight, then the projector is not square to your wall, and/or the wall itself is not straight.
A short throw projector has extremely high demands for a perfectly flat projection surface. Otherwise it will bend/curve/skew like crazy. This is why longer throw projectors are a better choice.
