Setting up my home theater, and I want to be able to split my signal out from my reciever to either my projector or current 55" tv. I have been looking at a few 1:2 splitters on Amazon, and in general they have high reviews but there are always a bunch that list their problems.

have anyone used any good HDMI signal splitters they would recommend?

Because of build quality mostly being Chinese and various ramifications of both HDCP and EDID, the HDMI splitters can be hit or miss, with most of them working well.

I would just get one that is POWERED with decent reviews and try it out. Make sure you are using decent HDMI cables in the process.

I figured that was the way to go. Most are $15-20, so not a big loss if its a dud.
thanks
