My classroom projector's image randomly shifts to the right, with the right side cut off (not just off screen). It happens often when I press AV Mute, or if someone else logs into my computer. I have adjusted all the projector settings, etc. I really do not believe it is a settings problem.
Has this happened to anyone else? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,326 |
Usually when this happens it is because the video output resolution of your laptop or PC is not set to 1024x768 @ 60hz or that the projector tried to 'auto-image' while the screen was blank. Find the auto-image feature of this projector and use it after your projected image is up on screen properly. Should be the 'auto position' button on your remote as detailed on page 15 of your owner's manual. http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_4904.pdfAV Integrated - Theater, whole house audio, and technology consultation during the build and installation process in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. | member Joined: Feb 3, 2011 Posts: 2 |
A thousand thank yous!! It worked just as you said. I didn't realize that compulsively using the "auto position" to fix the problem was just making it worse. And it explains why sometimes it worked...I feel a bit like Pavlov's dog.
I wish I had found this site sooner. |
