can you use a ps3 as a blu ray player and have all the commands using it with a universal mx 3000? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005

You can't power on/off the PS3 with that remote, and you will need to get an IR receiver for the PS3 such as the Nyko Blue Wave remote control for about $20 and then learn the Blue Wave remotes IR commands into your URC remote.
I use the Nyko remote with my PS3 and have for over two years and it works very well outside of the power not being available. AV Integrated - Theater, whole house audio, and technology consultation during the build and installation process in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. |
