I have Klipsch bookshelf speakers and I would like to wall mount them. The problem I am having is that these speakers sit on a swivel type base and do not have any other mounting hole in them.I have been unable to locate a wall bracket to use with them. Anybody got any links or know of a company that makes a wall bracket for these speakers? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,327 |
If they are wooden cabinets, you can pick up about any speaker mount and just screw it onto the speaker without harm. No they are not wood cabinets. Could you tap a plastic or fiberglass cabinet? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,327 |
The follow up question...
What model are they?
Klipsch has a couple of smaller speakers with an integrated mount, but it's a ball and socket type mount that is already designed to be wall mounted.
The RSX-5 and RSX-3 speakers fall into this category. You just put a screw into the wall and hang the speaker. They are the Quintet III model. I looked at them a little harder after reading your post and you are correct. They have the swivel base that you can wall mount as well.
Thanks for your answer AV - saved me some possible headache. |
