Has anyone been able to record programs from the DVR onto a disc ? I find myself wanting to keep some of these but my hard drive space keeps getting filled up ! | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005

Using composite or S-video connections almost all DVRs have the ability to spit out video for recording purposes. Just hook up a DVR recorder and let it fly.
If you are talking hard drive to internal PC DVD recorder, then that would require encoding things in a DVD friendly format if you want to play back in a normal DVD player and is not something I have ever done. I would just get a bigger hard drive at that point or buy them on DVD.
