I'm looking for LCD or Plasma product that can displayed multi screen (3x3 or 2x2) only using the "cascade cable" which is installed already at the LCD / Plasma product. Most likely gonna move to LCD rather than Plasma, if any in terms of the life time it self and also the burn in effect.
Now just wondering which product of LCD that can accomodate my requirement.. :-)

Not sure what a 'cascade cable' is, but a RGB passthrough cable should work and be relatively easy to run if need be for video wall presentations and you aren't going with a specific LCD/DLP rear projection video wall setup.

Try this:

Nec's 46" displays are a new offerring from them and finally address the large LCD display for business use and digital signage. Brand new - I have read about them, but probably won't get my hands on one for another couple of months.

got it that.... looks like NEC has the RGB passthrough cable as Daisychain RGB2, RGB3.. Nice to do 2x2 or maybe 3x3 big screen configuration Btw any other brand that can do that as well? I just found that Panasonic can do that but not for LCD, but they can do only in Plasma model 42", 50"and 65" (TH-50PHD7WK). Big Thanks!

I'm really not sure of specific brands, but there is always the option of using outboard video wall processors such as those from Fusion which provide the ability to send multiple inputs to a video wall seutp with multiple screens. So, you can do a single image across many screens, or multiple images over many screens.

NEC also carries the 4 42" plasmas inside a single frame to create a 84" display. That's pretty cool since you lose a lot of the border inherent in plasma frames.

I fully expect that in about 2 years NEC will release a 46-50" LCD with a micro border or no border at all designed specifically for video wall applications. That doesn't help your here and now need though.

well, just grabbed info from NEC for LCD product. They can not do 2x2 or even 3x3 big screen but for plasma product-they can do. Need to have VGA card to installed into PC and with XP Pro, we can do manipulate the display up to 10 screen, simultaneously. From there, I believe all the LCD product can not do big screen/wall screen display for 2x2 or 3x3.
