Sage Ryder, Big Screen Center and Mount Center- terrible company do not deal with them- products sold are not as advertised and if you try and return item the charge you a 15% sur charge fee

I would add Projector Lamp Center as another company affiliated with Sage-Ryder as one that has some questionable customer service issues. I have been trying for quite some time to talk to someone in charge to discuss an issue with an incorrect item; however, I can't get past the customer service people. any points of contact that anyone can suggest?

I wish I had seen your post earlier. I had the same problem with this company. Not only was the product not correct, I paid for two day delivery and did not receive it until after I called. When I called to return the product because I needed purchase additional pieces and did not have time to wait for the additional products I now needed to be delivered, I was told I would be charged the restocking fee. I told them I was return them because you did not send them in time. I was told "Well we sent the overnight and we did not charge you the additional shippng charge." I would hope not they were sent overnight because they were already two days late. Now, 65 days after returning them, I am still waiting for the credit. And everytime I call there is a different excuse and that I should see the credit in three to five business days.

ORDER YOU PRODUCTS FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!

I just wanted to let you all know that this is an excellent company to deal with. I have worked with Projector Lamp Center, Big Screen Center and Mount Center for two years now.

The correct way to check out the terms and conditions for any of these companies is to go onto their home pages and read the return polices. The biggest mistake consumers make is not educating themselves on how a company operates.

It seems people forget that this company distributes products for Sony, Hitachi etc. So there may be times when the manufacturing company makes a mistake. What I love about this company is that they fix those mistakes.

One positive thing I noticed in a post below was the following:

That your product was sent out overnight with no charge for this service in order to take care of you. I know for a fact this company does this whenever there is a problem with one of my orders. I appreciate that they do that. They go above and beyond to fix any situation.

Not to mention in two years I have had only two returns and they were handled very professionally. I have only needed one credit and that was because of my client and it did not take 65 days. It was issued within the time frame stated in their policies which I took the time to read.

As far as not being helped by customer service I have never had that experience. The staff is extremly friendly and quick.

And the post regarding products not being sold as advertised is preposterous considering this company sells Name Brand Products that are drop shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse.

Sorry laurieanna1a, but that post gives me the distinct impression that Sage is your employer, not your main supplier...
