Hello all, I am looking to purchase a new projector for a new theater build. My old room was 12 ft. wide X 22 ft. long and 8 ft. ceilings. Bought a new house and am building a room addition for a theater room that is 18 ft. wide X 24 ft. long and 11 ft ceilings completely light controlled. I would like 150 inch screen, 3d,4k or pixel shift and projector mounted at back of room. Any recommendations on best projector for my set up would be great. Thanks all.

24', let's call it 22' lens to screen is a pretty significant throw. With a room that size and a screen that size, I would be looking at something like the Epson 5050UB or better as budget allows.

JVC models are nice as are the Sony models, but they will be in the $5,000+ range. Under $3,000, the Epson 5050UB is pretty much impossible to best.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking the Epson 6050, I also was looking at the Epson LS12000 but no 3D and I have a lot of 3D movies.
