Hello!
I have an older (2011) Mitsubishi FD630U that has a fish-eye lens mounted onto it that projects inside an amazing dome arcade game.

The projector gets a lot of long term use (12 hrs a day) so it has been a real workhorse. Replaced lamp recently, and projector stays on for a few minutes, and then powers off with the POWER LED flashing red/green. (the lamp cover is secure, all appears good. Now it just stays off flashing red/green. It's clean.

1) Is this projector worthwhile repairing? If so, where is a good place to start?

2) How would I find a new LED model that would have the similar specifications and allow this fisheye lens to be mounted onto it?

Any suggestions or resources would be appreciated!

There is nothing special about that projector. Standard 1080p resolution and 4,000 lumens, but that lens assembly is completely custom.

You will have to reach out to Mitsubishi on this one. You aren't likely to just be able to use that lens with any other model out there. Projection lenses aren't standard in any way, shape, or form. This means that this lens setup was custom built for whatever purpose you are using it for.

I wouldn't really want to fix the projector, but I would be hard pressed to recommend a suitable replacement.
