Put the splitter next to your receiver and use a quality 18Gb/s rated fiber HDMI cable like RUIPRO. There is no signal degradation over any distance with a cable which actually is rated to the specifications required.
I use a 50' (or so) fiber HDMI cable. It works perfectly. I've never seen a cable with any degradation in image quality. That's simply not a true statement as long as the cable is actually decent.
