Hello guys, I have an old Sony vpl es1 projector that I would love to fix, but the problem is the prism, which is broken. I have the prism of an es2, identical to es1, but the flats are out from the polarizers. I don't know how to connect them to it nor the type of tool to do it. Another possibility is to use the prism of an es4, which is very similar but not absolutely the same as es1. Does anyone know if I put the es4 prism on es1 it will work? Or I can also swap the whole optical block from es1 with es4. What do you think about? Best regards | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,101 |
