About a week ago, after watching for about 15 minutes, vertical lines appeared all the way across the screen, about 2" apart. After about 45 minutes they disappeared for the rest of the movie. I used it 3 times since with no issues. Any idea what this could be?

Thanks.

I've never heard of such an issue. It could have just been a 'glitch' in the video processing which completely corrected itself and you won't ever see it again, or as you are more aware than others, it could be a sign of impending doom and gloom.

Mitsubishi really delivered on some of the better DLP models on the market, and if the offset was appealing to you, that is basically gone in newer models (it does have a lot doesn't it?) from other manufacturers.

I'm not sure I would save up for a replacement lamp, but might start saving, and planning for a new projector. On the plus side, if you get a couple more years out of it, then that just gives you more budget to use towards a real 4K model... hopefully.

Hopefully it was just a one-off glitch and you won't see it crop up again.

Thanks AV. Yes, it does have a large offset. About 30% I think.

I don't need a new bulb. When I bought it new, it came with an extra bulb. I put it in about 6 months ago.
