I without problem watch video on my PC through wireless WiFi. Why are there problems on the projector?
I'm guessing you mean that you connect to the Internet and stream content to your PC from the Internet, then the COMPUTER decompresses the video and sends it to the monitor over a hard wired connection.
You aren't sending video to the monitor without wires are you?
Netflix, for example, sends video to your home at about 3Mbs. The video that travels over HDMI is closer to 3Gbs. That's one thousand times the size of the original video stream. No, that's not a joke or a typo. It's why you hard wire the computer monitor to the computer.
A projector is like a computer monitor. It's not a computer. So, getting video into the projector does best with a wired connection.
There are some wireless HDMI adapters, and some projectors claim support for wireless HDMI, but they are not guaranteed, and many just end up not working.
