Not sure where to post this; I am missing a "multifunctional" section next to the Home-theater and business section. Moderators, please move this to the proper-best location (thanks)

We are a non-profit running exhibitions in two small historic buildings. Our Acer PD723P data projector is going to its end and we need a new projector. The new projector, however, is going to be used more intensively for running daily video presentations AND will be used private AND will be used as data projector for presentations about our projects in different location.

Ideally, we should have three projectors, one stationary and more profi for the daily video shows and one for the home-theater - road shows. Unfortunately, we do not have grants/funds for that, so one good one should fulfill all three roles.

More details about our needs-uses
1) Video shows: these are our own video's about traditional crafts and traditions. These will be shown in an old barn with large barn doors open, but no other lights. Not classroom/boardroom light room but neither darkened room. Several hours per day but only during 4 summer months.

2) Private use: is for children few times per week few hours watching cartoons and educational video's, in a smaller and darker room. Mostly during the non-summer months. So more the real "home-theater" use.

3) Presentations and road shows: this is more the business use for a portable projector. Mostly Power Point presentations and maybe an occasional video

Weight is not a problem or issue. Carrying a few kgs from the car to a presentation area is no big deal, sturdy enough to be moved and handled regularly is more important. So light-weight portable is not needed.

BUMP.

No healthy discussions on this topic or is everybody still in winter hibernation? I seriously could do with some expert advice here.

My problem is that I see a rain forest of brands, options, models, types, reviews, etc etc and have no idea in today's market what to choose.
