Nov 25, 2014 11:35 PM Alert Moderator I updated to Windows 8 last week, unfortunately to find that DVD is not playing any more. I am looking for a Blu-ray player, at the same time it should be a DVD player. Is that possible? | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005 Posts: 13,100 |
Nov 26, 2014 8:28 AM Alert Moderator PowerDVD is compatible with Windows 8. http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd-pro/compare-versions_en_US.htmlThey have several versions, and you want the Pro or the Ultra version for BD compatibility. For BD (Blu-ray Disc) playback, you will need a BD player for your computer. BD players are compatible with Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs. This is true for PC based BD players or stand alone players. So a stand alone BD player from Sony will play back all commercial BDs, DVDs, or CDs out there. The watermark only could delete on its registration version. |
