Hi anybody knows about sahara SC 967 projector? It cost around 28000INR in chennai. This seems to be having a brand name of sahara but while searching net, there were articles stating sahara brand is not producing projectors any more.
But this webiste link is given in few videos www.saharaprojectors.com.
Any suggestion please.

They are garbage. Don't buy them. Stick with major manufacturers which may offer local support. BenQ, Optoma, Sony, InFocus, Epson, Panasonic, and a fairly long list of others. You should be able to find a website for the company, it should have contact information, and it should be sold online by a number of companies, or available at local electronics stores. You should also be able to find reviews for the product, or equivalent product, through reputable websites.

Otherwise, ask here.

Thanks for your advice. I will stick to the brands.
I have made a list which are within my budget ie $800 or INR 45000.
LG PB62G , optima ML550 , Dell M115HD, Acer K 135 and Benq Gp10. ANY suggestions which is good.

I would stick with BenQ or LG on this. These are all relatively dim projectors. They can handle about a 100" diagonal in a dark room, and they are all 1280x800 projectors instead of 1080p models.

Not sure what the BenQ W1070 runs in your neck of the woods, but it's still the best image you are going to get for under $1,000. Bright, good colors, can handle a large screen.

But, for LED, LG seems to be starting to put out some decent models.
