i want to use a projector for video advertisement. the projector will be placed on the main city while the screen is placed on a near by island 2000 feet away. what is the best option for me to accomplish this. | moderator Joined: Mar 28, 2005

Projectors are not designed for this purpose. A long throw projection lens with a really bright projector may allow for several hundred feet onto a large screen, but that's about all you could hope for and that price point would easily be in the $50,000+ range for the projector.
Outdoor signage is far better handled with LED signs, not projectors. AV Integrated - Theater, whole house audio, and technology consultation during the build and installation process in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. |
