I have a Samsung 42" Plasma tv, model number HP-S4233, that is having a picture issue. The set seems to power up fine (makes the happy little wake-up noise) but the picture itself never fully comes on. Instead i get "splashes" of pixels that seem to be firing from the bottom right hand of the screen to maybe 3-4" in height. These seem to "pulse" from the bottom. There are also random gatherings of pixels in various parts of the screen that pop in and out at the same time, but these seem to be all over, not certain pixels. If I plug in a device and scroll through the inputs, the flashing pixels do seem to display the proper color/pattern of what would be onscreen. I have removed the backing plates and inspected the boards (to the best of my knowledge) and I don't see any blown capacitors or burnt sections of boards.

Can Anyone Help?

Magnificent Dan - I also have the same issue with my samsung plasma HP-R4272. It powers on and i have audio but the picture is just red pixels along the bottom and sides. Did you find the problem? Thanks for your response.
