I have just completed the Home theater improvements. I now have the Benq W1070, Yamaha RX-A720 and Panasonic 230 Blu ray player. I had to enlarge my screen since I wanted to use as much as possible the possibilities of the projector so I added an extra 10" on each sides. I now have a 128" diagonal screen and the difference is amazing! The Benq really delivers for the money! The picture quality is a big improvement over my Sharp X41. I also added a set of Pioneer speakers that I paid only 50$ for the pair. I unplugged the midrange and the tweeters and only connected the 15" woofers without any filtering. I now use them as subwoofers, driven by the Kenwood 150W/ch amp. My home made speakers were re-wired as a 3 way speaker and are used as the front L/R speakers. The audio improvement with this setup and the new Yamaha receiver is just amazing! I can shake the house! I used Sherwood Williams paint this time, and the new surface is much better than the previous one. This paint dries better, with less orange peel effect, and is washable. The 3D glasses came from a Chinese supplier out of E-Bay, I paid 110.$ for 4 pairs. The 3D effect is just outstanding. I watched 3 movies so far, and they all showed excellent depth and picture quality. So far, I am more than impressed by the W1070, aspecially at a price tag of 999.$ Here are some pics of the new setup.

I like the inlayed shelved for your equipment. How'd you build them? Im like to do the same to my room since one wall has nothing behind it other than a big open utility room.
Thanks
