I was talking to a friend the other day about projectors, and he was saying that perhaps we can try look at something where students and business users do not need to use VGA to cable when they want to do presentation.
And presenting wireless, perhaps we can save cost too.
The normal wireless projectors that we have are such as Sanyo PLC-XU115 and LP-WXU700... and they cost like $2200 (XGA) and $3k for (WXGA-HDMI)...
But he too, said that there can be solutions $1700 or below, and that could mean saving $500 or more. | member Joined: Nov 17, 2009 Posts: 2 |
Hello, I cannot help but notice that there is a mention of WowVision in here.
This interested me because I have seen a demonstration using this technology before in a closed-circuit meeting and must say that I'm pretty impressed by it.
The images are not static, though. They could stream a HD 1080P movie wirelessly using simple solutions that also implies cost cutting, meaning that the employment of a CPU that maybe costs about $500, + $900 for a Lumens W-2200 XGA projector and about another $250 for software. There, it gives you something for $1650 approximate.
I personally think that it is possible to have some cost saving projectors to do wonders, as opposed to what we have in the market now of the examples on Sanyo. Students like myself (I'm doing my thesis on the impact of technology on human lives and projector is one of the focus) can ill afford a projector that costs a bomb. Meanwhile, there may be some businesses that needs a solution, and is tight on budget due to the recession. | --- Advertisement ---
