Hello, so recently I've been having to make use of my extra time to research and find out more about projectors that I could use in my school classroom. I've been given a budget of around $1,000 dollars from our purchasing head, as I told him I was extremely unhappy with the current projector that the school had bought for the rooms.
I don't want to bad mouth the projector or the brand so let's just leave it at that, haha.
Anyway, the room I teach in is about 15 to 16 square meeters I believe? And fits about 20 students. Space of course is quite limited from the mental picture I'm drawing you guys, so I've rounded my selection to a few Short Throw projectors.
The use for these projectors will be for pretty much mainly powerpoint slides, or online browsing to show the students something, or once in a while a movie/video clip.
I'm thinking between the BenQ MP522ST, BenQ MP623, Epson 400W, or the Toshiba EX20U.
Any suggestions would be nice, thank you! | member Joined: Mar 17, 2009 Posts: 6 |
My friend has the Toshiba EX20U, it's great! He loves it! | --- Advertisement ---

Hahaha... that's great to hear, could you give me some more insightful feedback on whether or not the projector is functioning well though?
I'd want to know how the projector works. Thanks! | Joined: Jul 11, 2007 Posts: 36 |
You might want to take a look at the Hitachi ED-A100 Projector. http://projectordiscountstore.com/ | --- Advertisement ---

For the selection you said, it really depends if you want to go for short throw. The 522st is quite different than the others. Short throw can be very convenient for some, but it depends where you want to put the projector in the room. Always on the hunt for a new gadget. Got iPod, HTC, BenQ (new GP1 mini projector!), Optoma, Dell already. What's next? |
