Does anyone know if I can connect a Blu Ray player to this unit?
If so, will I see a dramatic difference in quality?
Finally, what cable should I be using to make this connection?

You can connect Blu-ray using composite, s-video, or component video.
The best image is going to be by using component video, but it's hard to say how much better this low resolution non-HD projector will actually perform with Blu-ray vs. standard DVD.
I use a 540p projector and I'm pretty happy with the added quality Blu-ray delivers, but it doesn't touch how good it looks when I hooked a 1080p projector up to my system.
Pretty incredible. AV Integrated - Theater, whole house audio, and technology consultation during the build and installation process in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. | --- Advertisement ---

The specs listed are:
Compatibility: HDTV: 720p, 1080i, 576i 576p

Well it will all be downconverted to 480p (the only resolution the dv10 projects as opposed to accepts as input) so any benefit will be small. I would wait until you have a 720p or 1080p projector. [Edited by gwlaw99 on Jul 1, 2008 at 7:12:45 AM] | --- Advertisement ---

No, it doesn't. I use 1080i resolution from my PS3 to my projector over component cables and Blu-ray. The quality is clearly better than DVD, even though my projector can't fully take advantage of the full quality that BD offers. While the choice is yours, if you think/know you will someday upgrade the projector, then making the switch to BD now is not a bad decision. You can play BD back on a TV made 20 years ago from your PS3 without much issue, so you certainly won't have a problem with your more recent projector.
