my acer X1260 says that it supports 1080i but has no HDMI or DVI. when i try to connect my ps3 through a HDMI - VGA lead i bought i cannot get a picture. does any one have any idea how to achieve 1080i from this projector i would really appreciate this.

HDMI is not analog, you can't connect this way.
You will need to run component video from your PS3 to the display. This is the only way to get video. This is the way my PS3 is currently connected to my projector and it looks awesome. AV Integrated - Theater, whole house audio, and technology consultation during the build and installation process in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. |
