Most manufacturers will not sell to an end-user, only service techs. The only exceptions I am aware of are Optoma and Panasonic.
You said PB8240, the previous poster had an 8250. Regardless, the part is supposed to be the same for both models. My parts supplier has it in stock, it is $135 plus shipping. You understand that user-installed parts carry NO warranty. Manufacturers only warranty parts installed by authorized service techs.
Since you've already gone through this before, you know that it is possible that the color wheel will fail again, this is not unique to Benq. I've replaced color wheels in several makes/models. Whether you spend the money to repair or replace the projector is your call.
But if you want to pursue replacing the part, we'll need to take this offline.

Hello, I also have a BenQ PB8240 which I have had for 4.5 years. The color wheel has blown 3 times. First time sent to BenQ for repair, sec I glued it back together myself it ran for a year. Just blew again and this time shattered. Think I could replace it myself if I could get the part. Could you help with the part number? And where I could order it. I called BenQ for this and he just laughed, no help from them. Thanks
