Hi there.

How do AV Receivers work?????

I know you plug in all your audio and video signals BUT THEN WHAT HAPPENS?????

E.G. if i was to plug in a dvd player and a vhs player into an av receiver and wanted to display the dvd player onto my projector, what would i then need to do?????

Please explain in detail so that i can understand.

Also, what kind of speaker connections are on the back because on most receivers ive looked at it is different to what im used to (bare cable connections).
