I just bought this from ebay and this is my problem , the edges of everything, faces, buildings, the screen, have red fringing,( I dont know how else to decribe it ) but when I set the projector to ceiling and flip it over it doesnt ...the only issue then is ,the right side does have a faint green fringe but only the right side of the screen none ( not much if any) of the viewing areas, just the right edge .. I am more concerned with the very bad red fring//if i am able to take it apart to clean something , i can just pkease point me in the right direction .... I am new o projectors but I am not new to taking my crap apart .... If only i could afford a good new one, I could stop with this ebay crap.... Thanks for your help

Could be the LCD panels are out of alignment. But in reality this could be caused by numerous things. This issue is not caused by anything that could be fixed with simple cleaning. The reality is every week we get reports here about someone else that has been taken on a ride because they decided to purchase a projector cheap off ebay.

If you want some real good advice? Try to get a refund on the unit and send it back. Chances are you wouldn't be able to fix this your self and it most likely would include an expensive repair which simply isn't worth it. Even if this projector was in excellent working order and still new in the box it wouldn't be worth more than $500 even then despite what the MSRP was listed at before.
