First poster here so please Help me.
I have a 50" Samsung HLS5065W DLP Tv. The picture of my Tv is getting darker and darker day by day. My friend told me to replace the lamp.
Is it ok to replace the lamp as its been 2 months gone to have this Tv.
The lamp code is BP96-01472A.
Any advices or suggestions are fully appreciated.
Please help!

If it was brand new when you first got it this sounds like a warrany issue. What does the lamp timer say? Pro AV System Integrator in Norway | --- Advertisement ---

It sounds like your friend is correct. Most manufacturers warranty the bulb for ninety days so if you purchased your TV 2 months ago I would hurry a service call and save about $400.
