Topic:   Affordable long-throw projector available on European market

Thank you for advice! Epson 3100 looks really nice but it is also rather large (in terms of width) for the spot on the shelf. I look at the list of projectors you posted here and caught an eye on Optoma EH416, which is smaller and also have all the connectors on side (instead of in the back), which would be better because there will be a wall in the back of the projector. But I noticed that Optoma EH416 is listed a business/conference projectors and I am not sure if it is thus the best for home theater use.
Besides the price, why is the Optoma EH416, better or worse then the HD26? switching from Benq 1075 to one of these models
The reason I was considering the change was because my Benq1075 blew-up, I guess it overheated and the lamp just bursted, and caught on fire, but I believe it was kind of my fault since I replaced the lamp with a Chinese cheap imitation, I'm gonna take your advice into consideration for the BENQ HT2050, it seems like the better choice, because while I was researching the Epson, are LCD and they required more maintenance than just changing the lamp I'm correct assuming that DLP is somehow better that LCD? Thank you for your input
