Topic:   Help with Hitachi CPX325

I am having a problem with my projector. It has become increasingly worse...and at first I thought it was temperature related, but it doesn't appear to be. Problem: When watching a movie or playing the console, anywhere between 30 seconds and 3 hours...the screen will go blue, and then the default screen comes up saying "no video input dected on S-Video" It can then either keep flicking betwwen the movie, or just go blue and saty there.....it's almost as if there is a lose connection or similar. Things I have done to overcome it: I have changed the cable (purchasing a new HQ cable) I have even changed the DVD player with a new one. Taken the projector apart and cleaned it (dust etc) Reseated plugs etc. Fitted additional cooling to the room Eliminated switchbox What I'm running: Phillips DVD player via switchbox to the projector via cable to s-vid Lamp Hours: Approx 150. ________________________________________ It is very frustrating, as it doesn't discriminate between movies or Playstation....and it sometimes even waits until I have opened my beer and sat down before doing it I have spoken to repair shops....none of whom really seem tha interested in having a look at the machine. Can anybody shed some light on what may be the problem? Or possibly where in Sydney I can take it to get repaired. The problem has become increasingly bad....at one point, it never done it...then every other week....now it is virtually guaranteed to do it.
