I mounting the projector on a vaulted ceiling the one in the photograph with CMA395 Angled Ceiling Plate My question is will this offset my projector to much That it cant be corrected by the projector .

Thanks for answering my question. I had no idea if those things were made to be tilted or not . I definitely do not want to lose any quality so I will try to find a extension pole. You may be able to tilt it a bit and use keystone correction, but this impacts image quality and you lose resolution and 1 to 1 pixel mapping. It is best to lower a projector to the proper height. Not sure your exact setup, but the EH515 from Optoma has pretty good zoom range, and has some lens shift, but nothing will deal with a 10' offset well. [/QUOTE]

Im getting ready to install a projector on a vaulted ceiling . My question is can a projector be angled down towards the screen ? My projector is around 10 ft higher than the top of the screen .
