Hi there. We just had our bulb burn out of this projector yesterday and were searching for replacements. Is there any place to look for cheap bulbs/used bulbs or can you guys recommend a generic kit that would work for this? We're kinda short on money, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks a million.

Hi,
My projector (which I bought used) is working fine but it has a problem with low light parts of the picture which instead of being gray or black has this ugly green tint. I have tried all kinds of adjustments, but I am not able to remove the greenishness. Skin and other colors looks good in the highlights of the picture, so it is not like the whole picture is green. However, in a lot of indoor scenes the whole picture seems green, while outdoor dayligh scenes are almost perfect.
What could be causing this? Could the lamp be faulty (it has about 1,000 hours on it), or?

Hi,
I am a bit confused when it comes to projectors and progressive scan DVD players. For one thing my projector is connected using S-Video so progressive scan is not an option, right?
The other thing is that I have read that projectors somehow converts interlaced video feeds to progressive themselves? Is that the case with all projectors, even my NEC MT-1045?
I also have a DVR which doesn't have component output, only S-video. Does that mean that if I want to use component for the DVD player I would have to have both S-Video and component cables going to the projector?
Please help me understand these things. I am pretty happy with the S-Video picture, so it has to be a significant gain involved before I start dragging component video cables up through the wall, over the attic and down to the projector.
