Hi all and thanks for a great forum. I have a small question I wanted to ask. My Davis DP X16 has recently began to put out a blurry/out of focus picture. It has come gradually I think so I hoped it was just some dirt on the lenses or something. I have opened it and cleaned the color weel, fans, etc. and it helped somewhat but not as when it was new. So the question is, is it possible somewhere to adjust the focus from inside the box? I have tried the two screws just behind the colorwheel but that was the vertical/horisontal picture adjustment. When I focus manually on the lens I am just missing a tiny adjustment to make it 100% The projektor is old but my son is using it for looking at cartoon etc. so I want to give it a go myself before I throw it in the garbage. I will not use 250$ for a tune up either :-) Never know how long it will be ok, or if it will be ok at all. The lamp has 1500 hours on it. (spec says change at 2000) can the lamp make the picture out of focus? Hope someone has a good idea that can help me with my problem. Tell me if you need furter information to be able to help.
