my projector is Qben w700, and I buy from sainsonic

I need to purchase a projector to use in a small/medium classroom (about 4 meters wide and 12 meters long), I'll project keynote presentations with 90% photos and 10% slides with brief phrases with good (medium/big) size.
In this class the lights are always on, but I can partially adjust by turning off few of them.
Already read the nice beginner guide in this web site. Seem that for my use brightness of the projector is much more important that resolution (and, perhaps, contrast).
Visiting the websites of some brands (mainly Benq) and looking in the education categories thought of having to spend > $1000. But I see that models advised for home theater there are some projectors like the W700 at about $600 is still able to have a good one. I was wondering if this model can be useful to me. Reading people reviews they speak of great brightness and I think that 1280x720 may be good for me.

I have recently purchased a benq w700 and am quite happy with it for the price. Not the best high def but I suppose itll do. My question is why does it say 49hz? I have connected it to my sky hd box also a dvd player and a ps2 (ps3 is on the way) and it still says 49hz. Isnt this really crap refresh rate?
Sorry if its a stupid question im a newb here.

I'm thinking of buying myself a projector for watching movies only. I doubt I will need 3D and I won't use it for anything else but movies (I'm not a gamer). I'm not very picky and I'm pretty sure that 720p would be just enough for me. Full HD would for sure be nice, but I don't think I would even notice a big difference. The problem is the budget - I can't afford anything expensive (I have a limit of around 500€).
For now, my top candidate is BenQ W700. I know there are many others (few Optomas, for example) and I'm not sure which one would be the best buy for what I need.
About my room, it's relatively dark even during the day. The projector would be a bit more than 3 meters away from the projection wall (I will project directly on the wall).

I own the old optoma H31 420p on a 84" 16:9 High def gray elite screen. It's been great for 7yrs 2800 hrs and still counting, but now it's time to upgrade, and I'm really looking at the $599 BenQ W/700...seems like an awesome deal 10,000:1 conrast 3D 2200 lumens Dual HDMI and DLP.It was released November 2011 so their are no reviews on it. I think I will bust a move on this one.Should be a huge upgrade for me.What do you guys think?
