yes there are service menu sequence commands to get into a service menu. This is often a very different way or sequence even between projectors from the same company. Now the manufacturer is very unlikely to provide that info, so unless someone that actually owns that unit and happens to know, you may have trouble getting this info.
This unit is old. Are you having problems with it? |

I know my company has owned a Sony VPL-PX1 for around 6 years. Everything worked fine and it seemed to entirely durable until a week ago when it stopped working etirely. I've got it back up and running in RGB mode, but it has this awful yellow tinge (cast, etc. I don't know the appropriate word) over the entire projection.
I'm a total n00b with this - even the IT guy here is stumped. Sony wouldn't even talk to me because the model is outdated.
Could it be that the lamp needs replcing or that the entire thing is kind of screwy due to being dropped or something of that nature? |
