Good luck, InFocus guards that info like it's the holy grail. Many have tried and none have succeeded AFAIK. So unless your brother-in-law works for InFocus...

Thanks! I'd say you're right ;) Very frustrating especially because the LP755 is out of production and there don't seem to be many people out there who can provide affordable service. What's the point of being so secretive about the service menu code? |

I've been scouring the search engines looking for some way to get the service manual for this projector and/or the code to get at the service menu. Any leads would be appreciated. |

Hello Carlz or other member
I also have the Infocus LP755 and am trying to hook it up to my DVD player (tried both Older Toshiba SD-3750 and Panasonic DMR ES15) using the S-video connection that you mentioned. I have successfully done the connection with a composite video cable, but can not get the projector to recognize the DVD player signal with the s-video connection. Any thoughts on what to try? The cable is only 6 ft long. All the obvious settings on the menus have been tested.
Thanks, |

I also have this projector and have a similar question. To be very specific, I have a DVD player with progressive scan component output (480p). If I go to the trouble of running about 20ft of component cable into a component-VGA convertor box to the VGA port, amd I going to see any significant improvement over using the s-video (480i) connection as at present? Or is all the scaling and converting going to wipe out any gains?
Similarly, what about a 720p signal from my HD satellite box over component? |
