Wow Thanks for trying to help me! The power speed does change when I press the standby button. No power to the bulbs. Checked the "switch" next to bulb casing and found that cicuit was completing. But still doesn't seem to be getting power to the bulbs. Yep I bought it from the same guy you did. I wish my only problem was dust. I would know how to fix that. Yes it is a hard lesson learned. I just wanted a projector to use for the Kids this summer to show movies in the backyard. New Projectors are so very expensive and the replacement lamps are unbelievable. I knew the life of the bulb was low but if using it for only weekend movies I thought I would get some use out of it this summer. If you can not suggest a fix can you suggets a place a family with a family type budget can go to find projectors and lamps? Refurb? If a family can not put $800 or up into the projector should they just give up?
Puchased a Dukane 7200 a from Ebay. No bulbs in unit. Purchased EVD 400W 36V bulbs (2) placed in projector. Turn on Projector fan comes on hit standby button but no light from bulbs. Nothing I do will work. Any ideas?
