I’m having some issues with my Optoma hd200x picture.
I’m getting a strange light around the main image it’s like a double boarder but to the top and right of the main image?
The work that has been carried out on the projector over time is 2 new bulb, a new optical lens (due to black dot appearing) and a new colour wheel.
I’ve put the old optical lens back in and this does not change a thing on the image.?
I’m now wondering if it could be a dmd chip problem?
The lines in the picture are from the camera and to the top and right of the image the problem
Any info would be very much appreciated

hopefully someone of you has an idea how to fix the following issue:
The projector suddenly stopped working. When I started it, the lamp started glowing, then got dark again, then the fans started and finally the LEDs signaled the lamp is dead.
So I ordered a new original lamp and replaced the dead one.
However, it doesn't fix anything. It's still the same.
Then I opened the case, cleaned all the fans and checked the color wheel - everything looks fine.
But the issue is still present. Now I'm out of ideas what I could try next.

Need some help!!!
My old projector recently started acting up (getting flashes of random color) so I decided to upgrade. My new on won't display anything > 480P. My old projector had no issues showing 720P.
Yamaha receiver - HTR-6080
Xbox 360 game console
Here's what I tried
- purchased a new HDMI cord in case mine was damaged - no difference
- confirmed my old projector could still broadcast 720P (it can)
- used a shorter HDMI cable - no difference (the one I normally use is 25' long)
- ran direct from the device (PVR) - worked great! Projector worked at 1080i with no issues.
- went to the Yamaha website and found info that my "old" tuner (6 years) doesn't let HDMI 1.4 pass through.
What I know
- it's not a cable problem
- my old projector will broadcast 720P
- my tuner will output up to 1080i resolution
- the projector will work if direct connected to the device
- does anyone know if the Optomo projectors require HDMI 1.4 to be able to broadcast resolutions greater that 480P?

Just wanted to show people that a rear projection setup is definitely worth it if you have the room. Awesome for parties, playing Xbox Kinect games and Ps3 Move. The quality of the image is not much affected by the ambient light of the room as long the the back room where the projector is located stays dark. I have all the electronics hidden in the back keeping it nice and clean with a 7.2 surround sound system in the ceiling and walls. Here are a few pictures might post a video later on if anybody is interested.
Just added 4x 100W bass shakers under two of the main seating area and the result is just unbelievable. Makes all the difference when watching a action movie. You feel the explosions and gun shots, I highly recommend it to anybody.
I wired them on the secondary sub output of my main amplifier and then in series after being amplified by an additional kenwood receiver In stereo mode on the FL and FR channel.
cost was around 150$ for all 4 on ebay.

Well E-U-R-E-K-A... after trying Radio Shack and Ace Hardware, I found a fit at Lowes. The screw size is M3 diameter & what ever length you need. Now, to drill a proper set of holes thru the base plate and I will be in a go status. By the way, the cealing mount that I am using is one which I havee been using for a number of years to suspend an Eiki projector. IThe Eiki still works well but it's time for HD 1080P.
