Yes I had the trip screen setup but was looking for more immersion in a game the three screens just did not work out even though they were 28” models.
I understand that I am going to an extreme with this set up and being so close is asking a lot if not an impossibility, and as the trip PJ idea in not feasible due to room constraints and more so financial consideration (namely the wife) I have to use one PJ, The geometric correction software works very well in fitting the image to the screen and taking care of any distortion.
I have a Pany AE900U that I use for my HT room and although it is only 1080i I was going to try it out to see if it improves the image.
You stated that a 1920x1080 (1080p) or a 1920x1200 (WUXGA) may help do you have a particular model in mind (taking into consideration the limited throw) in addition I am not looking for a top of the line as this will only be used for gaming and I have that wife issue.
The actual with of the screen is 68” width a depth from the outer edge to the “flat back part” of the screen of about 30” the sides are at a 60 degree off set.
Would reducing the screen width help?
I worked really hard building this setup and would like to get the best result possable although that result may not be ideal I figure asking the experts here is my best shot in obtaining that goal.

I have built a motion simulator for racing and constructed a curved screen with dimensions of 36” X 96” as the screen is curved the actual width is considerably less the screen was made from 1/8’ plastic sign board heated and molded (Works great) and an aluminum frame built to hold it.
The viewing is close about 24”
I purchased an NEC 500WS as I have limited space the throw is about 10’ it fills the screen at a 16 X 10 setting and I use correction software to compensate for the warpage.
The image is not too sharp and I have a horrific screen door across the screen the computer is very fast with dual Nvidia GTX295 cards in an SLI configuration.
I have tried adjusting the display output from the computer but this is not helping, my question is:
What PJ should I have purchased as I assume it is the limitations of the NEC causing the screen door issue?
If I need to sell the NEC so be it but I need to get it right the next time, Apart from the image issue what HD PJ offers the shortest throw vs. the largest spread of an image.
I will upload some video of the setup tonight and try to show the problems I am having
Thanks for any help
