I am planning to add an anamorphic lens to the JVC HD750. While I have reviewed the Projector Central calculations for 135 inch screen, I am asking readers to tell me if they have real world experience to verify the minimum focal distance. I have used the manufacturer's specifications as well as those from the anamorphic lens manufacturers [Schneider / ISCO / Panamorph]. While I get ranges of focal distances, I am looking for someone to tell me if they have actually configured a 2.35 system for the minimum focal length.
Regardless of your screen dimension, can anyone tell me how accurate the manufacturers spec plus the lens manufacturers throw ratio is at determining the real world minimum focal distance?
