I am thinking of buying this projector. My question is this, the calculator comes up with a measurement of 12'2" of throw for a 16:9 screen measuring 100" diagonally. My optimal mounting area for the projector is actually 18'10". Is it possible to shrink the picture down to the appropriate size or do I have to mount this at 12'2" for optimal viewing? Thanks for any help!
There is another sony sxrd lcos vpl-hw10 projector coming out end of september. It going have 30000:1 contrast and 1000 lumins pricing about $3499. Comparing to the vw40 it seems better spec wise but will it be brighter than the vw60? Now I'm looking to buy a projector and the sony does top my list after viewing the sony vw60 vs panasonic ae2000. Does anyone know how the benqw5000 is since it looks like costco is going to have it at a good price soon? There is going to be a new panasonic ae3000 projector out in late october as well but the lcos may still be better. If any one is a little confused as me as to picking one or if any one has an answer regarding any of these your feedback will help.
