I've been looking at getting a cheap 1080P projector, and everyone seems to be concentrating on the Optoma HD20, Vivitek, and BenQ W1000. From what I can see on the [url=http://www.projectorcentral.com/projectors.cfm?g=1&hide=0&st=1&mfg=&p=&p=1100&w_m=&r=13&br=&ll=&t=&db=&dt=&c=&ar=&dvi=&td_m=&i=d&is_m=&sort=%24]projector comparison page[/url], the Epson Europe TW980 seems to have plenty of advantages over those (huge zoom, lens shift, high contrast, 3-year warranty, and it's LCD so there's no need to worry about the rainbow effect). As a result of this, I am confused - why isn't it more popular? Is there some huge flaw that I've missed? There doesn't seem to be much information about it, even though it apparently started shipping last year and is still shipping. Why is this? Is it actually available? Also, on a completely different topic, does this forum not work with Gmail? I tried to make an account with that previously and never got the confirmation message. Then I forgot the password, but I didn't get the password reminder email either. Now I'm just using my other email account.
